What a long rainy Monday at work today!  I had 10 deliveries and 33,000 lbs of steel when I left this morning.  I really do hope this rain stops soon, and tings start to dry out.  This has got to be the rainiest spring I can remember. 
   I am currently looking for some food grade metal drums to build a new drum smoker (55 gal).  Also my Brother, Matt, my dad, and myself are planning on building a large offset smoker out of a big fuel oil tank.  It is just sitting in the woods up at dad's place along with another tank that was made into a hog cooker with a rotissirie that we plan on reviving and adding a few things to it, so it can be used as a grill/smoker as well.  I would love to cook for some family or church gatherings and maybe one day open up my own catering service.

Well, Ive finally decided to get on the blog bandwagon and have a little fun!  My name is Mike, I am a happily married 30 something with 2 awesome kids and an old Golden Retriever named Pete.  I love to Go fishing, BBQ (we'll discuss that more in depth later, yum!) and am an aspiring Banjo Picker.  I hope you enjoy my blog and all I ask is that you keep the comments clean and have fun!
